What Are Nic Salts?

Nic salts (nicotine salts) are a form of nicotine combined with a mild acid. This gives a smoother throat hit than freebase nicotine at the same strength, which is why nic salts are usually sold at higher strengths of 10mg and 20mg. Most nic salt e-liquids are a 50/50 VG/PG mix, which suits small coils.

Which Kits Work With Nic Salts?

Nic salts are made for low-power, mouth-to-lung (MTL) devices. They work best in refillable pod kits and starter kits such as the Vaporesso XROS, Oxva Xlim and Voopoo Argus, using coils of around 0.8Ω or higher. They are not suitable for high-power sub-ohm kits, which are designed for low-nicotine shortfills.
