Best fruit e-liquids UK: find your flavour.
Fruit is the flavour family we get asked about more than any other in store. But “fruit” covers a lot of ground, from sharp blackcurrant to mellow mango, and the flavour that suits you depends as much on your device as on your taste.
Here's how to narrow down the fruit e-liquids you'll actually enjoy, pick the right bottle for your kit, and keep the flavour tasting fresh.
Short version? Here you go.
Why fruit, and where to begin?
Fruit e-liquids are popular because they work all day. They're lighter than desserts, more varied than tobacco, and easy to swap between.
The trick is knowing which type of fruit you like. Someone who loves sharp, tangy flavours will find a sweet mango flat, and someone who likes mellow, juicy flavours may find a blackcurrant too punchy. So rather than a random top ten, we've grouped our fruit range into five families. Find your family, then try a couple of bottles within it.
You can browse everything we stock in our fruit flavour e-liquid collection.
Berries: the all-day favourite.
Blueberry, strawberry, raspberry and mixed-berry blends are the most popular fruit flavours we sell, and it's easy to see why. They're sweet without being heavy, with a little tartness that stops them getting sickly over a full day.
Single berries like blueberry or strawberry are a great first fruit flavour. If you want more depth, a blend like Zeus Juice Dodoberry layers four berries together, so it tastes rounder and more complex.
If you're new to fruit flavours and can't decide, start with a berry. It's the family most people stick with.
Tropical: juicy and smooth.
Mango, pineapple, passion fruit, guava and coconut. Tropical flavours tend to be fuller and softer than berries, with a juicy, mellow sweetness.
Mixed tropical blends work especially well. Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava from Kick Back's Pod Fill range pairs tangy passion fruit with soft guava, and it's a 50/50 blend made for pod kits. Single tropical fruits like mango or pineapple are a good pick if you prefer one clear flavour.
Tropical flavours can feel a touch heavy if you vape them all day. Plenty of vapers keep a berry or citrus on the side to switch between.
Citrus and sharp: tangy and fresh.
Lemon, lime, blackcurrant and sour blends. These are for people who like a bit of bite. Citrus flavours are clean and zesty, and blackcurrant gives a deep, tart fruitiness that's been a British favourite for years.
If you find sweet fruit flavours start to taste flat after a while, a sharper flavour is usually the answer. Citrus also mixes well with berries for a fresher take on a berry vape.
Single-fruit classics.
Apple, cherry, grape, watermelon and banana. Sometimes you just want one fruit done well. Single-fruit e-liquids are simple and easy to recognise, and they're a good way to work out which fruits you actually enjoy before moving on to blends.
Our own Blast 10ml range covers most of the classics, from apple and black cherry to watermelon and grape, in nicotine-free and 6mg, 12mg and 18mg strengths. At this price it's an easy way to try a few and find a favourite.
Fruit with ice: the cool twist.
Many fruit e-liquids come in an “ice” version, with a cooling note added. It makes the flavour feel crisper and lighter, and it's especially popular with vapers who like menthol.
If you like the cooling more than the fruit, have a look at our guide to the best menthol nic salts in the UK.
Don't hunt for the “best” fruit flavour. Find your fruit family, then explore it.

10ml or shortfill: which bottle do you need?
The same fruit flavour can come in very different bottles, and picking the wrong one is the most common reason a flavour “doesn't taste right”. It comes down to your device and the PG/VG ratio.
| Your device | Best bottle | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Pod kit (MTL) | 10ml e-liquid or nic salt, or a 50/50 shortfill | Thinner liquid suits small, higher-resistance coils |
| Starter kit (MTL) | 10ml e-liquid or 50/50 shortfill | Same as pods: tighter draw, thinner liquid |
| Sub-ohm kit (DTL) | 70VG shortfill | Thicker liquid suits low-resistance coils and bigger vapour |
| Not sure | Ask us in store | We'll check your coil and point you to the right range |
Shortfills are nicotine-free as sold, with space in the bottle to add nicotine shots. Our guide to mixing shortfills and nic shots walks you through it, and What is PG & VG in e-liquid? explains the ratios in more detail.
Got a pod kit? Look for “Pod Fill” or 50/50 on the label. Thick 70VG shortfills can struggle to soak into small pod coils. Browse 100ml shortfills or 10ml e-liquids.
How to keep fruit flavours tasting fresh.
Fruit flavours are bright and delicate, so they're the first to suffer when something's not quite right. A few simple habits make a big difference.
Change your coil or pod on time
An old coil dulls fruit flavour fast and can leave a burnt edge. If your favourite suddenly tastes muted, check your coil first. Here's how to tell when it's time to change your coil.
Rinse when you switch flavours
Moving from a dark or sweet flavour to a light fruit? A fresh pod or coil, or a quick rinse of the tank with warm water (dried fully before refilling), stops old flavours lingering.
Store bottles well
Keep bottles sealed, upright, and somewhere cool and dark. Sunlight and heat fade fruit notes over time. Always keep e-liquid out of reach of children and pets.
If every flavour starts to taste a bit samey, try switching between two different fruit families for a few days, such as a berry and a citrus. Rotating flavours keeps each one tasting distinct.

What is the most popular fruit e-liquid flavour?
Berry flavours, especially blueberry, strawberry and mixed berries, are the most popular fruit flavours we sell. They're sweet with a touch of tartness, which makes them easy to vape all day.
Are fruit e-liquids good for pod kits?
Yes, as long as you pick the right ratio. 10ml e-liquids, nic salts and 50/50 shortfills such as the Kick Back Pod Fill range suit pod kits. Thick 70VG shortfills are better in sub-ohm kits.
Do shortfills come with nicotine?
No. Shortfills are sold nicotine-free with space in the bottle to add one or two 10ml nicotine shots if you want them. Some of our ranges include nic shots with the bottle; check the product page for details.
Why does my fruit e-liquid taste weak?
The most common causes are a worn coil, a liquid that doesn't suit your device, or a bottle that's been stored somewhere warm or bright. Try a fresh coil or pod first.
What's the difference between a fruit flavour and a fruit ice flavour?
An ice version adds a cooling note on top of the fruit. It makes the vape feel crisper and lighter. Whether you prefer it is purely down to taste.
