Smok RPM40 vs Smok RPM80 Pro

Smok RPM40 VS Smok RPM80... What's the difference?

The long awaited wait for the RPM80 Pro is here...

Comparing the RPM40 to the latest Pod Mod, the RPM80, we can see it has been given a full upgrade with a sleek new look. From a bulky pod kit, to a refreshed slim pod kit, the new style is a popular look. The RPM80 Pro has been designed to be held in your hand comfortably with the new shape.

The RPM40 was the real pod mod from Smok that combined advantages of both a pod kit and a box mod into one. It's a compact device that has a huge 1500mAh built-in battery and a power output of up to 40W. The RPM40 utilised the brand new IQ-R chipset allowing a fast firing time of 0.001s.

The RPM80 Pro takes an external battery. The advantage of having an external battery is it means that you can have a few spare batteries which you can then change out for charged ones, this allows you to always have a charged vape. The RPM80 Pro also has a maximum wattage of 80W which is currently the most powerful pod kit.

The RPM80 Pro has been given a full upgrade, from the way it looks to the power inside. It has been upgraded to a new IQ-80 chipset with the new conical RGC Mesh Coils. Smok has also revamped the screen to a brand new user interface that provides concise vaping information. For an example: the battery life, the wattage, a puff count and more.

A key difference between the RPM40 and the RPM80 PRO pod kits are the pod shapes and the mouthpieces. The RPM40 pods feature a wider mouthpiece for increased airflow, where as the RPM80 PRO pod features a traditional 510 style drip tip, which is not removable.

However, when comparing the both pods we have discovered that both pods are compatible with all the Smok RPM coils. This means that you can find the best coils that are suited to your preferences and have the best possible vaping experience.

The overall vaping experience on the new RPM80 Pro pods is similar to using a traditional vape tank, this is due to the intense flavour and cloud production.
When it comes to refilling the Smok RPM80 pro pods it shouldn't be a problem, this is thanks to the top filling design.

The Smok RPM80 Pro now features a new and upgraded Chipset, the IQ-80 which offers a variety of intelligent features and functional protections. From telling you when your device is getting hot and even when your coil is about to get burnt.
