1. My coils are burning out far too quickly, why is this happening?
Your coils can burn out for different various reasons. This can be due to the coils not being fully saturated with e-liquid when you first prime your coils.
Another reason could be because you are using the coil at a too high of a wattage. Most coils have a wattage range written on the side of them. We advise that you stay within this range to prolong the life span of your coils.
Chain vaping is also another factor of why your coil is burning out too quickly. This is because you are not allowing the coil to re-saturate with e-liquid, this means you are vaping a dry coil.
2. Do all coils fit in the same tank?
No, all coils do not fit into the same tank. This is because all tanks will have different designed coils, this is due to different brands and manufacturers.
3. What makes a sub ohm tank?
Sub ohm tanks give out a lot of vapour and normally the resistance of the coils would be 0.5Ω or below. Although any tank that has a resistance of 0.99Ω or below is classed as sub ohm.
4. How often do I need to change my coil?
We recommend you change your coil roughly every 1 - 3 weeks, depending on how much you use your vape.
If the e-liquid discolours or your coil tastes burnt then it is time to change the coil within your tank.
5. Why does my coil taste burnt?
The cotton within the coil may not be saturated correctly and that means the cotton has been burnt when used. You should replace the coil as soon as possible and then this should return the flavour back to its original state.
6. How do I stop my tank from leaking?
Leaking can be caused by flooding in the cotton and coil. This means that there is too much e-liquid in the coil.
A way to solve this is to clear away any excess liquid and then turn the wattage up by 5 - 10 watts for a few puffs to heat the excess into vapour. Once this is done, then turn it back down again.
If this still doesn't work then you may need to change the coil, as through usage the cotton within the coil can deteriorate and soak less e-liquid through it.
7. What’s the difference between voltage and wattage?
Voltage is the direct current given out by the battery and the wattage is the measure of power distributed to the coil from the battery.
This is a protective casing for your battery, if the plastic is damaged in any way we advise you replace the battery straight away.
9. Is it safe to charge your device overnight?
It is advised to charge your batteries while you are awake and they are in eye sight.
10. Regarding batteries, what does mAh mean?
mAh stands for milliamps per hour. This is a measurement of amperage of a battery.
For an example: 3000mAh battery will stay charged for a longer period of time compared to a 2500mAh battery.
Maintaining your vape is often seen as a chore and the least enjoyable part of vaping.
Why would you want to spend time cleaning your vape?
The answer is because you should.
Without the correct care and maintenance, your vape will not function how it should and it could potentially become a problem in the future.
Here is a guide for you to follow when maintaining your vape.
1. STARTER KITS
Starter kits are perfect for anyone who is beginning their vaping journey and wants to use vaping as a way to reduce or stop smoking.
Starter kits tend to be low in power and are designed to be a mouth to lung style (MTL) of vaping.
MTL vaping products replicate a similar inhale style to smoking a cigarette where the consumer will take a pull on the e-cigarette and hold the vapour in their mouth before inhaling and then finally exhaling.
Starter kits work best with 50PG and 50VG types of liquid. This is due to the devices having smaller coils that take thinner juice but are higher in nicotine.
MTL starter kits sometimes have a coil resistance above 1.0 ohms (Ω) and this is what will determine how much power the battery can push out. For example, the best wattage range for a 1.8Ω coil is between 8 - 13 watts of power.
Starter kits tend to be smaller, more compact and lighter than sub ohm kits, they also come in all different shapes, sizes and have different power outputs.
Newer starter kits come with variable wattage and OLED screens making these really aesthetically pleasing as well as performing outstandingly. This allows the consumer to set up the device to their needs.
2. PEN STYLE KITS
Pen style kits are more of a description of how a kit look, the kits can vary in both size and power output but one key fact remains the same; they are all in the shape resembling a pen.
These devices vary when it comes to battery types. This is because some of them have an internal battery while others have an external 18650 battery.
The older pen style kits tend to not have a screen of any sort and they would normally have a variable wattage and a built in battery. The newer pen style kits are starting to have inbuilt screens with OLED displays with them displaying important information such as Wattage, Resistance, Battery life etc.
3. POD KITS
Pod kits are the newest style in both MTL vaping and Sub Ohm vaping. Pod kits are very user friendly and this is due to the “POD” part of the kit. The pods themselves come in different forms depending on the kit. Some kits, such as the the Aspire AVP come with pods that have built in coils and then you throw them away when they are burnt. On the other hand, a device like the VooPoo Vinci X uses a pod system which you replace the coil every couple of weeks when its at the end of its life span.
4. SUB OHM KITS
Sub Ohm Kits have not been around for as long as some people think, the mouth to lung style of vape kits were around before sub ohm kits.
Just as everything else in the vaping world, sub ohm kits were created from experimentation. Many vaper’s wanted a way to produce more vapour, so this is when a sub-ohm series of coils were first created.
Sub Ohm kits are vape kits which use a coil below 1.00 ohm in resistance, they are commonly used by people who are looking for more vapour, more flavour and longer battery life.
Due to the lower resistance of coils, the power used can be increased. Even some coils able to handle up to 150 - 200 watts comfortably. The lower resistance and higher power allow you as vapers to achieve huge amounts of vapour clouds. With sub ohm kits allowing you to achieve more power throughout the coil this means the flavour production is increased. This is due to the amount of e-liquid that is being heated and turned into vapour.
Sub Ohm kits can vary when it comes to battery life. Some sub ohm kits will have a built in baterry meaning the device would need to be charged at least once a day. Where as other devices take 1 - 2 18650 batteries meaning the battery life is 50% longer than built in batteries. A good example of this would be, a built in battery sub ohm kit is the Smok Stick V9 Kit. An example of a sub ohm kit that takes 2 18650 batteries is the Geek Vape, Aegis X Kit. Everyone has their own preferences to what they want, there is no right or wrong decision on what Sub Ohm Kit you should get.

PG - Propylene Glycol
Propylene Glycol is an artificial mixing agent which is used in a lot of food and medical products. For an example, cut ointments, body creams, makeup.
Propylene Glycol is non-toxic and is safe for human consumption, which has made it the perfect liquid to be used in e-liquids.
Propylene Glycol is odourless when heated and also when mixed with nicotine, it also gives a simulated throat hit as well as being the flavour carrier.
If you are looking for a stronger flavour and a more harsh throat hit from the nicotine then a higher PG based e-liquid would be my best recommended for you.
Below is a short list of products containing Propylene Glycol:
- ASTHMA INHALERS
- BEAUTY PRODUCTS
(SHAMPOO AND BABY WIPES)
- FIZZY DRINKS
- COFFEE BASED DRINKS
- ICE CREAM
VG - Vegetable Glycerin
Vegetable Glycerin is a natural mixing agent which will control the amount of vapour production within an e-liquid. It has its roots embedded in vaping, a long time before vaping was actually a thing. This is because the liquid was used in smoke machines, movies, stage sets and more.
VG’s vaporisation properties make it a perfect ingredient for the use inside e-liquids as it is non-toxic.
The higher the ratio of VG, the denser the vapour production will be. In addition to this, e-liquids which have a higher VG content will mix less with the nicotine. This gives off a smoother throat hit which makes them the perfect choice for using them with sub ohm vape kits.
Below is a short list of products containing Vegetable Glycerin:
- DAIRY AND PROTEIN FOODS
(CHEESE, YOGHURT, POWDERED MILK, CREAM ETC)
- PROCESSED VEGETABLES AND FRUITS
- GRAINS
- BAKING GOODS
What ratios can I get e-liquids in and how will they affect it?
This will depend on the manufacturer as they will create different ratios for their flavours.
You can get many different variants of e-liquid with different ratios. For example you can get 80% PG and 20% VG, 50% PG and 50% VG.
How safe is PG and VG?
Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin are both non-toxic mixing agents which as mentioned before are perfectly fit for human consumption.
If you use an e-liquid which contains a high ratio of PG, then you may find you get some mild side effects which can include a sore throat, dry mouth or increased thirst. These symptoms will only last for a short period of time, this is just your body adjusting to vaping.
]]>
1. E-liquid maintenance
When you vape there is more than just buying your e-liquid then vaping it. It's important to shake your e-liquids before you fill your tank up. This is because it mixes up the PG/VG and nicotine to ensure you get the best flavour out of your e-liquid.
When you have e-liquid you need to make sure its out of direct sunlight. This is because the sun decreases the nicotine levels. Another thing to remember is to not leave your e-liquid bottles open. This is because it will sacrifice the flavour of your e-liquid.
2. Clean your tank regularly
On a regular basis you need to make sure you're emptying and cleaning out your vape tank. This is really simple to do and should be done at least once a week.
Simply disassemble your vape tank, pour out the remaining e-liquid, and clean the tank, mouthpiece. You can clean this by using something like kitchen roll or you can clean it with hot water. IF you clean it with hot water, leave the tank to air dry for 24 hours+. If this is not done you can end up becoming seriously ill with the result of inhaling water etc.
3. Change your coils
Your coils affect your vaping experience, and beginners often don't realise how important it is to change your coils. When you start noticing any buildup in your tank or the flavour turns into a burnt flavour, it means it's time to change it!
Click the link below to find out how to change your coil:
https://www.ilovevapour.com/blogs/the-beginners-guide-to-vaping/what-is-priming-your-coil
4. Have a spare set of batteries
Does your vape require a set of 18650 batteries? If so, its always a good idea to have a spare set. This is because if your batteries run low or one stops working you've got a spare set to hand.
5. Avoid vapours tongue
When you vape a flavour for a long period of time, you will sometimes get vapours tongue. This is natural and is nothing to be worried about. This occurs when you vape the same flavour for a long period of time. To prevent this from happening we suggest you mix up the flavours you use every so often.
6. Drink plenty of water
Sometimes vapers tend to experience dry mouth when they vape. Dry mouth is linked to dehydration. This can sometimes happen if you vape e-liquids that have high levels of PG. This is a liquid that is known for attracting water molecules, therefore giving you a dry mouth sensation.
Many smokers who switch from smoking to vaping find that high levels of PG work very well for them because it gives them a better throat hit. If you are experiencing dry mouth, drink plenty of water to avoid this and keep your body hydrated.
7. How do e-liquids affect your coils?
A important factor to your coil life span is what e-liquid you use. The sweeter the e-liquid, the more likely it will contain natural or artificial sweeteners. The sweeteners in the e-liquid may caramelise on your coil which will give an effect of burning your coil. This can then lead to your coil not being able to saturate correctly which then can lead to a burnt coil. To fix this issue you would need to change your coil more regularly than usual to keep the best possible performance.
Some sweet e-liquids can burn your coils quicker, for an example within 2 - 5 days. Normally your coil should last between 7 - 14 days. Although this can vary depending on the amount of usage and how much power is being used from the coil.
]]>Atomizer: The heating element inside of your vape. As this heats up, it speeds up the movement of the molecules inside your e-liquid, this then produces vapour.
Batteries: The power source to your device.
Blend: A fancy term for the ratio of propylene glycol to vegetable glycerin in your e-liquid.
Box Mod: A type of mod supported by box shaped battery.
Cartomizer: A cartridge with a built in atomiser. When you replace the cartridge, the atomiser gets replaced with it.
Cartridge: The removable tank that holds the pre-filled e-liquid. With a clean and easy integrated coil system.
Clouds: A term for the vapour that is exhaled after taking a pull on your vape.
Coil: A coil is responsible for heating up the e-liquid in your vape and turning this into vapour. A vape coil is wire wrapped in a spiral around the cotton.
Dry Hit: A harsh, dry tasting hit resulting from having no e-liquid left in your tank.
E-Cigarette: Electronic cigarette. A cigarette shaped device that contains e-liquid that is vapourised and inhaled by the user.
E-liquid: Liquid that gets heated and vaporised within the vape.
Lung Hit: Inhaling vapour directly into your lungs.
Nic/No-Nic: E liquids with or without nicotine.
Ohm: The measure of electrical resistance within the vape battery.
PG: Propylene glycol, a common base for e-liquids.
Regulated Mod: A mod with safety features to prevent overheating.
Resistance: The rate at which electricity is able to travel through the heating element, (for an example the coil in your vape). A lower resistance provides faster heating and bigger vapour. Although high resistance results in slower heating with less produced vapour.
Tank: The component for e-liquid to be used with an vape.
Threading: The type of connection used to attach the e -liquid tank to the device.
Throat Hit: When you take a pull from your vape and then you can feel tingling on the back of your throat (usually associated with higher nicotine levels
Vaper: A common name given to a person who uses a vape.
Vapour: The substance produced as a result of heating e-liquid within your vape.
Vapours Tongue: Loosing a temporary taste of e-liquid that can be caused by vaping the same flavour for long periods of time.
VG: Vegetable glycerin, another common base in your e-liquid.
VW: Variable wattage, the ability to control you wattage to what suits you.
Wick: The absorbent material that draws e-liquid up into the heating element to be turned into vapour..
]]>To put it simply, priming your coils is the action of applying your e-liquid to the cotton material within you coil. We advise you to do this in order to ensure your coil is set up correctly before you vape.
All coils apart from the rebuildable ones will come with cotton in them. When you set up your coil or replace it, you need to make sure you saturate it before you use it.
The easiest way to do this would be to drop a few droplets of e-liquid directly into the coil from the top opening, making sure the droplets land on the cotton. Another way to do this is if you have cotton holes on the sides of your coils you can drop a few droplets on each of the holes to make sure its saturated.

Sub Ohm tanks are defined by the resistance of the coil. If the resistance of a coil is below 1.00 Ohm it means it is a Sub Ohm coil. There are a lot of different coils that run at different resistances meaning you can run your coil at different Wattages, this will change depending on the manufacturer. A Sub Ohm tank uses the power from the battery in your vape to heat up the coil within the tank. This then vapourises the e-liquid that is saturated within the cotton of the coil.

Innokin Endura T18II Vape Pen Kit
LINK: For more information, click link below.
The original Innokin Endura T18 was one of the world's most famous vape pens. It was incredibly easy to use, and it also effectively straddled the line between a vaping device for beginners and a high-end mod for experts thanks to its extremely efficient coil design. The Innokin Endura's coil had ample wick openings that allowed it to suck up even very thick e-liquids with ease. The Innokin Endura T18 II takes everything that was great about the original Endura and improves it for a new generation of vapers. With the T18 II, you'll still get the slim and light design. You'll also get the amazing Endura tank and coil. In fact, the Endura T18 II uses the same coils as the original Endura T18. The Endura T18 II, however, has two important usability enhancements that make it a very worthy choice if you own the original T18 and are ready for an upgrade.

]]>Sub-Ohm is one way you can vape, when you use this process of vaping more smoke gets produced, this is compared to mouth to lung. When you use a vape that has a sub-ohm tank on it and you inhale you will take a lot of cloud and flavour in, This is due to having a bigger coil which allows more air to be pulled through it but also allows more juice to be pulled through the coil which then burns to make more smoke. When you exhale you will produce a big cloud and this is called sub-ohming.
Mouth to lung is a different style to sub-ohming when vaping. When you use a mouth to lung vape and you take a pull, you will feel a tighter pull, this is because the coils in a mouth to lung tank are smaller and more compact making it a tighter pull. When you quit smoking and start vaping we recommend for you to purchase a mouth to lung device as when you take a pull from your vape it will be a similar type of pull as a cigarette which you will have been used to.
]]>Nic salts is a shortened term for the natural state of nicotine, This is found in the leaves of tobacco plants.
How do nic salts work?
Nic salts enter your bloodstream faster than normal nicotine. This means that you can get your desired hit of nicotine quicker due to the strength of the nic salt. They also give off a smoother taste, allowing you too vape it more often if this is needed!
Are Nic salts safe?
The answer to this is yes! Nic salts are a freebase nicotine, this allows you too vape the higher strength of nicotine and it be bearable for you. So from a health point of view there is no need to be concerned as nic salts are safe.
Can I use nic salts in my normal device?
Depending on what vape you have will determine the answer to this. This is because if you have a sub-ohm device nic salts will not work in it. Nic salts will not be suitable for a device like this due to the power output of the device and they will not have the correct coils in them. We do not recommend using nic salts in a big powerful kit, if you want to start using nic salts or if you already use nic salts we recommend buying a device that is made to use nic slats in them.
Our recommended devices for nic salts
There are many different nic salt devices that you can purchase but we recommend the most reliable and popular devices that are available for nic salts. These devices are Voopoo Drag nano pod kit, Smok Nord kit and the Orion pod. The price varies slightly between these devices but they are really good priced for what they are! Our recommended devices are available in all of our stores but also on our online store! Order online for nic salts at https://tinyurl.com/y2lr9gdh
